1st Fusiliers have been invited to provide the opposition in a charity football match against a select team of celebrities captained by the comedian Jack Whitehall.

The match will take place on the Sunday 23 Dec 18 at the Rosslyn park stadium in Roehampton, London. 

The Game is to commemorate the Christmas Truce that took place along the Western front, at a place called St Yves near Ploesgsteert, Belgium in 1914.  There, the Royal Warwickshire Regiment took part in an Anglo-German football match against the 134th Saxon Infantry Regiment in no man’s land.

KO is at 1400 on the Sunday. Tickets can be purchased on the day of the match at a cost of £12 for Adults and £8 for children.
